Welcome Letter

35th Anniversary Celebration

Conference: March 29-April 1, 2011
Trade Show: March 30-31, 2011
Location: Richmond, VA

We invite you to attend the next Wineries Unlimited as we celebrate our 35th Anniversary at our new location in Richmond, VA on March 29-April 1, 2010 at the Greater Richmond Convention Center.

In the words of Warren Buffet, "Price is what you pay. Value is what you get." This is a concept I fully embrace. That's why Wineries Unlimited is the second largest vineyard and winery conference and trade show in North America, and the largest event of its kind outside California.

This event draws attendees from over 30 US states Canadian provinces. This year's attendance totaled over 2,300 wine industry personnel who are committed to taking their businesses to the next level. By moving this event to Richmond, we anticipate even higher numbers. In fact, our trade show is more than 80% sold out more than six months in advance of the show!

We have opened registration earlier than ever this year to give attendees a greater price incentive to sign up early and save.

We are proud to announce that Wineries Unlimited has joined forces with four key players to bring you the best possible conference in 2011. These moderators are experts in their field and names that you'll recognize: Keith Striegler, Ph.D. , University of Missouri; Bruce Zoecklein, Ph.D., Virginia Tech; Paul Wagner, Marketing Expert & Owner, Balzac Communications; Elizabeth Slater, Owner, In Short Direct Marketing. Each moderator has been given the task to head and coordinate his or her own session track. This is a change we feel is vital to the success of your experience and education at Wineries Unlimited.

Equally as pleasing are several high profile special guests who plan to be on hand. Virginia Governor Bob McDonnell is planning to attend the Best of the East grand gala along with Todd Haymore, Secretary of Agriculture and Forestry for the state of Virginia. This is a ticket-only event with limited seating, so you are suggested to reserve your space early.

Back by popular demand will be Andy Beckstoffer of Beckstoffer Vineyards. Andy Beckstoffer is President of Beckstoffer Vineyards, one of the most highly regarded independent winegrape growers in California's North Coast. A native of Richmond, Virginia, Beckstoffer and his namesake vineyards continue as an influencial leader in the wine and grape industry.

It's said, "Virginia is for Lovers." We say, "Virginia is for Wine Lovers!" and you are the producers of that product that we all enjoy. We value your participation, and hope you'll join us in Richmond in 2011.
